Founded in 2012 in Los Angeles, California, Claymind began with a simple mission: help businesses build custom e-commerce systems that were flexible, scalable, and built around the way they actually operated.
In the early years, Claymind focused on building e-commerce websites from the ground up. These were not just brochure sites or basic online stores. As Shopify began gaining momentum as a leading commerce platform, Claymind recognized the strength of its backend APIs, storefront architecture, and scalable ecosystem. Shopify offered a powerful foundation for brands that wanted to move faster without sacrificing flexibility. Claymind joined the Shopify Partner Program and began helping clients customize, extend, and integrate Shopify into their broader business operations.
By combining years of custom engineering experience with Shopify’s growing platform capabilities, Claymind developed a practical approach to commerce implementation.
